Batttery charger showing wrong battery type

Hello,

We own a H6 PRO R1 Lithium Battery Charge and we have used it to charge Bluerobotics Lithium Polymer Batteries (14.8V, 10Ah) and Bluerobotics 4S Lithium-ion Batteries. We haven’t had any issue for the past 3 years. Last month we purchased a Bluerobotics 6S Lithium-ion battery and we updated the charger’s firmware so it could support 6S batteries. It was working correctly during the past few weeks until yesterday when we noticed that the charger was displaying the incorrect type of battery. Now it shows Li-Po when connecting the Li-ion batteries (photos attached). Moreover, the charger shows that the 6S battery has 0% despite the cells have values higher than that.

What can be wrong with the charger? Should we install the unlocked version of the firmware? Why does it show 0% when clearly is not 0%?

Note: In this case we are using a new 6S battery which was sent by the seller in storage mode, we were going to charge it for the first time when we noticed this issue with the charger. The other battery we have been using for the past weeks is not available right now in our lab.

Best regards
