Bar30 Pressure sensor gives strange readings at first

Hello all,

I performed a test in the air using the Bar30, after connecting it to my Linux system through 3.3V I2C. At first, it provided me pressure readings around -10000 mbar, then the pressure value increases gradually to -9000,-8000,-7000,… After 2 hours, it stabilizes around 995 -1039 mbar. I wonder what causes the strange pressure readings.

  • Is this behavior repeatable?
  • Can you show us some log or graph of the behavior?
  • Can you show us a picture of how everything is wired?

Thank you for your reply. It only happened last Friday (the second time I test the sensor).

The Linux system operates at 1.8v logic, so a bi-directional logic level converter is used.
