6S with XT90 connector within the Blueboat

Bluerobotics sells 6S version of the BlueBoat Battery Splitter Cables to use the MEGA 6S battery inside the Blueboat.

I have a feeling this is only required if we:

  • either use Bluerobotics’s MEGA 6S battery with the 6S splitter cable that terminates by a QS8-S connector
  • and/or we want to charge some 6S battery inside the blueboat which requires having some JST XH - 7 position

If I use 6S LiPo battery with a XT90, and I do not need charging inside the boat, and I indeed apply the Min/Max signal for the M200 motor to the specified values : 1200 minimum and 1800 maximum, can I happily plug the 6S’ XT90 connector directly into the existing 4S splitter cable?

It seems that the only difference left is the fuse which is 50A in the 4S splitter cable and 100A in the 6S splitter cable but since M200 would not draw too much current I guess this is fine too.

Please advise :slightly_smiling_face:
