Thanks for sharing that interesting video! I’m curious—what was your workflow for spotting the snowmobiles 100 feet below the surface? Did you descend along a vertical rope, randomly search around a GPS location from the surface, or use sonar technology?

Since the snowmobiles went through the ice they were fairly close to the location were they went in.

and yes sonar was use for speeding up the search, though we probably could o found them without the sonar it just would have taken longer
