Similarly to our Ping Sonar Altimeter and Echosounder:

The … beamwidth is a fixed property of the sonar’s transducer, and so can’t really be changed without changing the transducer itself, although it may be possible to physically restrict the sound path. Be aware that reducing the beam width would also reduce the directions where your object is detectable.

It’s still uncertain whether physical restriction would actually work well, but even if it does it would likely be quite challenging to do so on a sensor like the Ping360.
