Hi,

I have been using Ping360 for some time and it works great. However, I wonder if it is possible to configure the vertical bandwidth for each scan? For example, can I reduce the vertical beam height from 25 degrees to 5 degrees so that the sonar avoid scanning the bottom of a lake at a shallow depth.

Hi @philip-huang,

Similarly to our Ping Sonar Altimeter and Echosounder:

It’s still uncertain whether physical restriction would actually work well, but even if it does it would likely be quite challenging to do so on a sensor like the Ping360.
