My suggestion is to use the lumen subsea light case with a clear lens for an external FPV style, USB camera…

The camera could be used for:

  • real-time ROV selfie type shots
  • point straight down stitch shots together of the sea bed.
  • Point straight up for cinematic surface type shots

My understanding is that the cable length would be fine.

You could also provide a ‘bar’ of known length where 2 such cameras could be used for photogrammetry applications.

Support for multiple cameras is one of our most common feature requests. This will require some development on the hardware side as well as the software side. We set many of our goals based on user feedback. We recently made an initial proposal for supporting simultaneous video streams in QGC. Thanks for putting in your vote :slight_smile:
