The camera’s power source has always been a RPi USB port, not likely it ever got more than 5V. No resistance between pwr and gnd. It’s definitely shorted out. This is the first time it was put into the water; not a good sign. Will contact the help center immediately. Thanks for the links.

Sorry for the issue. If the camera was fed more than 5V, it could have had a short develop. Can you check the resistance between the 5V and GND wire (red and black) with a multimeter?
