I wonder if I can use BlueOS in a Raspberry Pi 4B and Pixhawk 2.4.8 combination. Because companion computer software doesn’t seem to work on 4B model.

But what I was trying to ask is that: When working with BlueOS, do I need one of those "Navigator Flight Controller"s or can I just use Pixhawk 2.4.8 as my flight controller?
BlueOS is made to work with a Pixhawk or Navigator.
There are a couple of new convenience features in BlueOS that work for the Navigator but have not yet been implemented for the Pixhawk, but most features should work for both flight controller options, including the essential features that are required to connect to and control the vehicle.
