I would like to use Wetlink connectors to quickly cable-up instruments to a bottle. So many existing science instruments use either impulse RMG or subconn MCIL/MCBH connectors. IT would be good to know if anyone has used a particular pigtail successfully with Wetlink, without or without mods to the cable? I have found it difficult to get cable diameter descriptions from the pigtail sellers. Thanks, Ben
Hi @bens -
To clarify, WetLink Penetrators are a great solution for attaching MCIL/ MCBH whips to enclosures. Unfortunately, many of these whips have a larger OD than the WetLink can accommodate, depending on the size of the connector on the whip. If you can verify the OD is 9.5mm or less, you should be all set!
Blue Robotics is hard at work developing WetLink connectors - these will be open-face rated, and come in a variety of pin counts. They use no potting and will be a great alternative to the standard connectors the industry has grown to depend on…
