Does anyone know of a 100 meter + rated underwater servo other than the ones from Blue Trail engineering, or from China?
I’ve blow up four of these cheap Chinese ones so far… I need to quickly switch to something more reliable before an upcoming deployment. I know Blue Trail Engineering has some, but I’m concerned about the long lead times, and the Blue Robotics servo won’t be out until next year.
Alternatively, has anyone successfully made a DIY pressure compensated brushless servo like the T3U?
I have a couple Blue Trail Engineering units here with HSB-9381TH servos in them that I’m not using you can test, run while you’re researching your solution.
Hey Ken, Thanks for the offer! I was just talking to Tony at BR yesterday who also offered to send one of the prototype servos they are working on. It looks like some solid specs so I’m looking forward to trying it out.
Also, I heard back from Damon at Blue Trail after talking to Tony and it seems like they are back on top of their lead times as well.
I really apricate the offer! but I’ve got a solution in the works already.
