# Tether buoyancy very positive in deep dives

Hi @ASCHENATO,

Most likely this is an issue of [tether drag](https://discuss.bluerobotics.com/t/tether-drag-on-rov/9092) rather than increased buoyancy - I suggest you have a read of that thread 🙂

If the problem is indeed the drag, then you can reduce the drag with a [“clump weight”](https://discuss.bluerobotics.com/search?expanded=true&q=clump%20weight) and/or a slimmer tether.
