# Question about AUV control with single thruster/rudders using ArduSub

Hello,

I have a question regarding the possibility of controlling an AUV with a single main thruster and rudders for steering (i.e., no side or vertical thrusters) using the ArduSub system. Does ArduSub support this type of control configuration? What considerations or modifications might be necessary?
