Can you inform which anti virus are you running ?
I did a quick test with 68 different softwares and the .exe appears to be fine.
Also, stm32flash is an open source project, the code is available for anyone to take a look, is a well know project used by people all around the world.

Got the hit on the latest Avira, ran an Avira update yesterday and suddenly the scan quarantined it, never had prior and it found every copy I had on the computer. Not sure why it did or why now. It found not other suspect files. But did figure I would note it.
