Did a few updates today on the Bluerov2. Ping sonar, DWE camera and ping echosounder. Also installed a ethernet switch. But after installation i cannot access via blueos or qgc. But via the installed cocpit on my pc i get connection, video and controll.
The only way i get blueos/qgc is if i connect directly from pc ethernet to RP4 ethernet.
Even backtracked (removed the switch) and connecterd the network from RP4 to tether control, but still no go.
Kinda suspect my tether board is gone on its networking side.
If you get connection via the tether and Cockpit, the issue is not your tether at all! Is the link light on your topside FXTI coming on, and staying on? If so, the issue is definitely with your computers configuration…
It’s likely that you don’t have your computers network adapter properly configured to have the correct static IP and subnet mask.
If you can load 192.168.2.2 in your browser, that also would show the issue is not with your tether. When you connect to BlueOS in the browser, double check that no alerts related to low voltage are present - running both the DWE and Ping sonar could be using significant power from the 5V bus…
Well, the funny here is that nothing has changed on pc, network settings etc. Still the same as before. The only connection i get is via the pc instlled cockpit sw.
Disconnected the switch and put back to std with the RP4 connected direct to the tether interface board. But no go.
Anyway, a new Tether interface board is on the way, so time will show later this week
