Hi guys first post here. Finally finished building my ROV utilising mostly BlueROV2 components & design but also with a few DIY components too (I’m calling it a hybrid BlueROV!), part of what makes Blue Robotics so awesome - cheers guys! Plenty of crabs and a few other little surprises at Kingers Rocks in Keyhaven. Max depth was a humble 6m. It looks like you had a lot of fun exploring the underwater world. The crabs are amazing and I’m curious about the other surprises you mentioned. What kind of camera did you use and how did you control the ROV? Thanks for sharing your experience and video! 😊 ---

Hi Geeksvela, It was fun, I’m actually looking to start mapping the areas different biomes as a mini project. The ROV uses the onboard USB camera from Bluerobotics. Movement is controlled by six thrusters which I ordered from china and modified, they are connected to a pixhawk 2.4.8, from there it’s the standard BlueROV setup with raspberry pi, fathom x tether interface boards (I had a custom tether at the time) & ardusub software, laptop and Logitech game’s controller topside. Are you building an ROV at the moment?
