We have a new addition to the Reef today, the ANB Sensors Calibration-Free pH Sensor.
This sensor uses a solid-state transducer instead of the traditional glass-electrode technology found in most pH sensors. This means no manual calibration, no special buffer solutions, and no special storage requirements. Just deploy it and it’s ready to go.
It comes in two depth-rated versions: the AQ5 (5 m) for the BlueBoat and other surface vehicles, and the OC300 (300 m) for the BlueROV2 and deeper-water deployments. Both measure pH, temperature, salinity, and conductivity, and have 8 GB of onboard storage for data logging.
