# Navigator - PNP Sensor

Hello,

I would like to connect PNP sensors to the Navigator in the BlueBoat.

Ultimately, I would like a message / light to appear on the cockpit when the sensor sends a signal.

Has anyone done something similar and can offer some advice?

Hi @sgrtmosina -  
By PNP, do you mean a sensor that outputs a voltage when triggered? If so, and this voltage is \<6.6V (or 3.3V) you could connect it to the appropriate Navigator Analog input, and use a [lua script](https://github.com/vshie/luascript_library_BlueRobotics/blob/main/adc_test.lua) to read the voltage and send status text to cockpit when triggered!
