I have 200m of cable to wrap.
what is the minimum safe diameter to wrap around a hub. I’ve looked at most garden hose reels and they have approximately a 6 inch diameter hub.
I don’t want the cable to look like a ‘slinky’ once it is deployed.
any suggestions?
best,
Doyle

Hi Doyle,

The tether documentation ([Fathom Tether](http://docs.bluerobotics.com/fathom/)) has 8" as the minimum bend diameter but I’m fairly confident that 6" would work fine. The numbers here are pretty conservative.
