# Gazebo simulation setup

So i am trying to setup a simulation environment as mentioned [https://discuss.bluerobotics.com/t/setting-up-a-simulation-environment/2892/2](https://here), but the [[GitHub - patrickelectric/ardupilot\_gazebo](https://github.com/patrickelectric/ardupilot_gazebo)]([https://Ardupilot](https://Ardupilot) Gazebo plugin) is only supported with gazebo 7 or 8, and when ever i try installing gazbo 7 or 8 i receive this error: `Package gazebo8 is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source E: Package 'gazebo8' has no installation candidate`

What’s you operating system and which command are you using to install gazebo?
