# Fathom spool assembly query- large version

Hi folks, quick (simple!) question- we have just purchased the heavy configuration BlueROV with 300m cable & spool, large version of the spool. I’m just wanted to check with the Fathom Spool assembly should we use the outer holes in the blue stiffening ring for the spool standoffs, or the inner ones (to give more space for the 300m length cable once it’s wound up)?

Your question is answered in the [documentation](https://bluerobotics.com/learn/fathom-spool-assembly/#:~:text=For%20the%20large%20version%2C%20use%20six%20threadlocked%20M5x16%20screws%20instead%20and%20a%203.0%20mm%20hex%20driver%20to%20secure%20the%20six%20spool%20standoffs%20and%20one%20stiffening%20ring%2C%20with%20the%20stiffening%20ring%20placed%20between%20the%20standoffs%20and%20the%20spool%20face).

It sounds like you made the right assumption about using the inner holes!
