I wanted to share this video - it’s quite long, and wasn’t captured with a BlueROV2! I’ve been experimenting with a 4" diameter, 200mm long enclosure housing a battery, Pi, and 4k Cam. It’s basically a BlueROV2, but without motors! I held the camera mostly between my knees, as I removed lots of fishing line and lead from local reef - see the writeup here.
I’ve got a simple BlueOS extension (public release… some day!) that handles focus, zoom and tilt, and even sends one-push whitebalance requests to the camera on a regular basis - thats why you may notice the colors shift on occasion.
Generally I think this video illustrates just how amazing the 4k Cam is - many experienced underwater video folks are impressed with the white balance, calling it superior to the latest GoPro offerings!
