Hello all! I am trying to pass a 0.5in cable from a pressure vessel (1500psi) to atmosphere. salt water hydrostatic pressure. My two options are:
- use or find a cable penetrator rated for the size and pressure
or - splice & pot the cable into another bulkhead connector like MCBH8M and then use a threaded (or welded) receptacle onto my end caps.
I would really prefer to stick with the first option because its easier and cleaner (unfortunately I cannot change the cable). I’m looking for advice on where to look. The best solution I’ve found so far is the Conax PG5-500 passthrough. Anyone got better ideas?
