# Affordable image sonar for fifish v6

hi there. I was wondering if anyone could advise me on finding a low cost imaging sonar system to work on a Fifish v6. I’m also interested in adding temperature data logger (but not as difficult to source as sonar). thanks

Hi @michele.barker -

Welcome to the forums!

Blue Robotics doesn’t make the fish, and from what I know if it adding something like a temperature sensor isn’t possible with their proprietary design and software. A stand-alone one could work, maybe something like a hobo logger. Some sonars may be supported, like the affordable Cerulean Sonar Omniscan FS. However the version of this sonar Blue Robotics is intended for the BlueROV2 or other modular platforms…

thanks! Glad I discovered this forum as I’m very new to this world (I’ve a artist and filmmaker wanting to do some very experimental underwater work). I had come across the Hobo loggers in my searches so will check them out more. And will now follow up on the Cerulean
