Nurse sharks circling a yacht in the Maldives — filmed in full 360° from an underwater ROV drifting between the divers.

*How this was shot*

The camera rode on a custom BlueROV2 built on Blue Robotics hardware, running ArduSub. The ROV was flown by tether from the dive boat while the divers worked the reef, which is why you can look up at the hull, down at the sand, and straight into a shark passing a meter away — all in one shot. No cage, no cuts.

I’m curious what kind of housing you used for the camera (is it commercially available? did you make it?) and what kind of depths it can go to :slight_smile:

Hi! This is an original Insta X5 Invisible Dive Case.
The maximum diving depth is 60 meters.
I edited the video in Insta360 Studio.
In the settings, you need to specify the type of underwater case for better frame blending.
