300% mark up!

Look at this:

Amazing, the link has now changed to a price of $1290. It was $3200.

I wonder if the Robotshop was originally trying to sucker in some unsuspecting hobbyist that this is a BlueROV2 due to the $3,200 price, but got called on it by a buyer and had to change to the actual BlueROV1 price?

Or it could have just been a typo. Here’s their website’s page for the BlueROV: http://www.robotshop.com/en/bluerov-remote-operated-underwater-vehicule-kit.html

When I first saw the 3200 price I sent them an email. here is the response back:

Good day,

We have verified and we do sell this product $1290 USD at the following link:

<span style=“color: #1155cc;”>http://www.ebay.com/itm/</span><wbr />BlueROV-Remote-Operated-<wbr />Underwater-Vehicule-Kit-/<wbr />112000420891

<span style=“color: #231f20;”>We are therefore uncertain where this shown price comes from. We are usually very competitive in pricing for products that we sell.

Please do not hesitate if you have any questions.

Draw your own conclusions. I think they were gauging and got caught.
