Was just wondering if video enhancement python scripts to compensate for colour loss at depth, could be added to qgc?
Pre processing in a window that could be chosen for output to screen and recorder, would be nice. It would give a choice to record raw video and enhance later or enhance on the fly.
As long as it didn’t slow video and data feed.
I read that a histogram normalization script helps compensate for red colour loss but someone with image skills could help. What do you all think?
Passing the video through a program like this will almost certainly add lag. A better/easier option would be to adjust the settings of the raspivid command that is used to pull the video off of the raspberry pi camera. The available options are here.
