I was disassembling the back of the electronics enclosure to connect a payload when I noticed the BR-assembled penetrator for Lumen Lights isn’t potted on both sides. Is this normal or do I need to add some marine epoxy? Fortunately I haven’t had the vehicle in deep water yet.

Hi Ben,
This is normal and not anything to worry about. Not all our penetrators are potted the same way, and in the case of the 5mm lumen penetrator the potting does not go all the way to the end of the stem to prevent a possible tight bend that could damage the thinner wires. There should still be white marine epoxy in the base of the penetrator at the beginning of the stem.
