When a pair of mounting clamps are used around the 3" tube, what is (roughly) the distance between the opposing faces of the section that holds the screws?
I’m looking at the possibility of attaching the clamp to a flat sheet through this gap and am wondering what thickness I’d be able to use. I know that’s not how they’re meant to be used, but it could work for me.
