Control the spin of T100 thruster

Suppose when I send a PWM signal at 1600 µs and a T100 thruster starts spinning clockwise. Now, to safely make the thruster spin counter-clockwise, should I first send a “stopped” signal at 1500 µs before sending a signal at 1400 µs?

In this case, if I send a signal at 1400 µs directly without sending a “stopped” signal. will this cause any harm to the thruster?

Anyone has idea?
